flowing in the streams of time, from that first will to survive
complicated ways where no one felt like this
aware, convinced, importancy, it's the reason we can be
what is left of it when no one's left to see?
we all travel down this way, to the fate of our last day
till the time wipes us aside (where no one felt like this)
there'll be nothing more to say, while the earth passes away
we're the last of our kind (where no one's left to see)
desperate holding on to the untruth
everything about to loose
the day of transience is closer than we think
if nothing is left nothing will turn out to be nothing at all
everything will be vanished and lost
imagination and overconfidence will be gone when existence ceases to be
Powerful, plaintive expression of the fathomless sorrow of our suffering cetaceans and their depthless home, together with the indescribable loveliness of their distant blue-black realm. I feel as much interstellar space here as I do deep ocean, equally crushing and buoying. Dave Aftandilian
Absolutely Bone-Chilling. A bleak and meditative experience. Waves of crushing reverb and sustain pierced by soaring synthesizer and guitar screams. A prolonged howl into the darkness. The Howling Void showcases a punishing yet beautiful display of all of Funeral Dooms defining aspects. An absolute tar pit of despair. 10/10 Yawth
The Portland power duo cast a wide and winning net on their debut LP, with elements of goth rock, heavy metal, Americana, and more. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 9, 2022
Yes, similiar to Mournful Congregation but more staightforward. Heavy just about all the time. Much less fluff than MC. Better growls, too. The production lends the music a majestic feel. The only thing I don't like are the rare spoken word bits. If the next release has more of those I'll address them as Mopey Wanderer (... I mean it). You can trust Germans to put the fun in funeral doom. tr_🇺🇦
